EVENT PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Please join us on Sunday August 17, 2025 for Innaugural Running With The Rapids 5K and 10K being held in memory of Tina Zell. The race will be held in downtown Niagara Falls, New York and is being brought to you by the Niagara Falls Police Department.
Net proceeds from the event are being donated to Create A Healthier Niagara Falls Collaborative working to make Niagara Falls a healthier place to live work, and play.
START/FINISH
Both distances will start and finish on the NY State Park Trail near the Great Lakes 360 Vistors Center. We are offering both 5K and 10K run options and both races are set to start at 9am using out and back routes along the Niagara Falls State Park Pedestrian Path. Runners will enjoy beaufiful and scenic views along the entire route!
RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Race Day Registration and packet pickup will take place Saturday morning beginning at 8am at The Archives Pub located a short 2 minute walk to the start/finish line.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until race day. Packet pickup will take place at The Archives Pub starting at 8:00am right up until the start of the race. All participants who register by August 11th at 9am are guaranteed to receive an event t-shirt in their requested size on race morning. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
The post race celebration and awards ceremony will take place at The Archives Pub after the race. Participants will enjoy light food/snacks and the awards ceremony.
PARKING
Public street parking and city lots within short walking distance of The Archives Pub and start/finish line.AGE GROUPS & AWARDSTrophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and10K.
